Standards
Certification is not a detail.
In security doors, the difference between marketing and real protection lies in testing. Armoured doors are classified under EN 1627 into resistance classes (RC2 to RC6), defining how long and with which tools an intruder can attempt entry. An RC3 door resists five minutes of crowbar attack; an RC4, ten minutes with power tools.
Fire doors are tested to EN 1634 and classified EI — integrity and insulation — in minutes: EI60 and EI90 are the classes we supply. In collective-use buildings, periodic maintenance of these doors is not optional: it is a legal obligation, and the intervention log is required at inspection.
We provide each door's full documentation — declaration of performance, CE marking and installation report — so architects, inspectors and insurers get a closed file with no effort.
